Dublin's Fair City

Dublin has been ranked as the 24th best city to live in, in a survey of 215 cities by Mercer Human Resources Consulting. The survey ranked cities by such factors as public services, safety, environment, economy, social life and politics. Zurich and Geneva topped the list, while Baghdad beat out Brazzaville in Congo-Brazzaville and Bangui in the Central African Republic for the bottom spot. Dublin beat out London, at 39; Paris, at 33; and New York at 46th. It slipped two places from last year, however...no doubt because of it's long distance from The Kansas City Irish Fest. Other top ten cities included Auckland, Vancouver and Sydney, while Germany had three cities make the top ten – Dusseldorf, Frankfurt and Munich. Honolulu, at 27, was the US’s highest-ranking city.

Luckily for the rest of the field, Kansas City was not included in the survey. We'd have left them in the dust.
