My Name Is Luka

Multitalented singer/songwriter and 2006 KCIF performer Luka Bloom is on the road in the US in April and May . Sadly, he's not coming to Kansas City just yet, but he is lined up to play Gunther (Gunther???) Murphy's in Chicago. While we wait for him to arrive here in KC, check out these glowing reviews of his 2005 award winning album 'Innocence'.

Out of all the bands I've booked at KCIF and at the Brookside Irish Festival, Luka Bloom is the one I look forward to seeing most. Too bad I'll be to busy to catch his whole show.

A group of us are coming to KC IrishFest from Chicago. We usually go to Milwaukee Irish Fest. The deciding factor ? Luka Bloom. We will drive 9 hours just to hear him perform live. And we are looking forward to checking out the rest of the fest.

I agree, I drove for 9 hours to Milwaukee to see Luka this past April. 2 years ago we went to Dublin to see him so I was thrilled when I found out that my Luka was going to be at the KC Irish Fest. In fact, I volunteered to work the Irish Fest just so I could pick him up at the airport. Alas, that was already covered but I still can't wait to see him er work at the Fest.......
