This coming Sunday, April 2nd Kansas City Irish Fest directors Ed Scanlon, Rory O'Connor and myself will once again take to the airways to ask local public radio listeners to pledge their support to NPR station KCUR-FM, 89.3 on your dial. As usual, we'll be on during The Thistle and Shamrock program between 1:00 and 2:00 in the afternoon.
KCUR is a friend and supporter of Irish Fest, and a valuable media partner. Do us a favor and call in or log on and make a pledge on Sunday so that KCUR can continue the great work that they do. If you don't call in, we'll be forced to tell our thousands of listeners what a cheapskate you are, you'll be shamed on the public airways and a pariah in your community. And we don't want to have to do that.
