Your Name in Irish

There is a profile of John Webber just posted on the website. John teaches about the origins of Gaelic names and of Celtic symbols. With John you can practise drawing those fascinating symbols, and also learn what your Irish name means. If you think your name isn't actually Irish, say hello to John and ask him what it would be if it was. John will teach you how to write your name in Gaelic. I'm guessing Fachtna, but John will let you know. And this could be the perfect opportunity to find out if that Celtic pendant you bought really does feature the Love Knot of the Wise Salmon of Eternal Insanity (by the Tree).

John Webber's talks and demonstration classes are at the Irish Cottage

Handy Irish Phrase: Is féidir liom m'ainm a scríobh anois (I am able to write my name now)
