A lot of people have been enquiring as to the welfare of Julia Renick (the girl injured in the auto-accident with the tire):
Julia is now at home in St. Louis and doing great. Her father stopped by the Fest grounds on Monday morning to say they were heading back and to thank the Festival for theirr assistance and prayers. He said she was climbing a rock wall in a friend's back yard before they left. KC Irish Fest has sent a care package and Teddy Bear (from Browne's Market) and is going to make Julia a special VIP at the 2006 Fest.
Julia's Dad said that when they told Julia in the hospital that she would be a
special VIP next year it was the first time she smiled since the accident.
