The Kansas City Irish Fest Surnames Exhibit is on loan to the Michigan Irish Fest this weekend at Muskegon's downtown festival grounds (Sep 16-18).
A very popular part of our Heritage Area, and featuring Ireland's most common surnames, the Irish Surnames Exhibit will tell you the counties from which your ancestors hail. Or more likely rain.
Handy Irish Phrase: beireann sí ubh i nead éin éigin eile (she lays an egg in the nest of some other bird)
