KC Irish Fest performer Eileen Ivers is in the news this week. In the Vail Daily in Colorado there is an article which includes a nice interview with Eileen and background on Immigrant Soul members. This is in advance of their playing Celtic classics with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra in Vail. There's some great quotes from Eileen as she talks about playing music, encouraging young people, and interacting with folk through her music.
Tonight Eileen Ivers and Immigrant Soul play in the Warwick Summer Arts Festival in New York.
