Caera Aislingeach - Profile

The profile of Caera Aislingeach has been posted on the website with the performer profiles. The multi-talented harpist and Celtic singer with the mesmerizing voice, Caera, is having a Harp Workshop on the Sunday, and performing Irish Gaelic Children Songs & Lullabies on the Friday. Both of these performances are on the Heritage / Children's Stage, which has been updated.

Caera has recorded two CDs, 'Wake the Dragon' as part of the band Môr Gwyddelig, and 'Through Misty Air', her first solo CD. Both CDs were recorded live and acoustic and are a combination of traditional and original music.

Caera is a passionate scholar of Celtic music and singing, and performs in Irish Gaelic and the closely related Gaelic Scottish and Manx (fom the Isle of Man) languages - as well as singing in English. Have a look at a selection of press reviews and a couple of very nice interviews with Caera from Celtic Beat and Songs Alive.

Although people are prepared to walk on broken glass to hear Caera sing, please be aware for safety reasons at the KC Irish Festival it will only be broken plastic cups that you will need to walk over.

For details of her Irish Fest appearances, and her own website where you can learn of a wonderful array of classes that she gives, see Caera's performer profile.
