Admission tickets for the festival are available from today from the following outlets in the metro area:

Bloomsday Books
The Boulevard Brewery

Crown Center Customer Service Booth
Doherty & Sullivan Irish Goods
These advance tickets may be purchased up until noon of the opening day of the festival - Friday 2, September - assuming there are still tickets left at that time.

The tickets became available this afternoon and I saw them all shiny and new arrive at Bloomsday Books before the hoardes got their hands on them. Advance tickets for admission (single day adult) are priced at $8, compared with admission at the gate being $10. Weekend passes (for $20) are also available at the advance ticket outlets. Other admission prices are $5 for Senior Citizen Day Pass, and of course Kids, 12 and under are FREE! Priced for a family - so bring the family.
