The first of the performer profiles has just been published on the site. Kansas City Celtic Rock giants The Elders have the honor. There's a bit of background, details of their scheduled performances at the festival, and the link to their website. You'll also notice how The Elders can fly. This weekend sees The Elders back in the Midwest after their trip to Connecticut for the Fairfield County Irish Festival over Father's Day weekend where they shared the stage with fellow KC Irish Fest performers, Cherish The Ladies. The boys are playing at Keysters in Des Moines, Iowa, this Saturday June 25th.

You can purchase their latest recording, released only last week, "The Elders Live at the Gem" (CD and DVD), which is The Elders' concert that was recorded at the Gem Theatre and shown on TV in the Kansas City area on St Patrick's Day.
