The First Annual Kansas City Feis will take place this year in partnership with the KC Irish Fest. Basic details about the Feis, have just been posted on the website, though I hear the Feis will have their own website. We'll bring you that link as soon as it becomes available.
A Feis is a dance competition and where all those dancers you saw on Riverdance cut their teeth. Check their teeth next time you see them. 'Feis' is a Gaelic word pronounced 'fesh', and its plural is 'Feiseanna' (never 'feshes').
